Puez Tour

The Puez Tour is one of the most famous hikes in the Dolomites, located in the Alto Adige region. This circular hike winds around the Puez-Odle massif, offering breathtaking views of the valley below.

The starting point is the Lech de Sompunt car park, located at 1,970 metres above sea level. From here, the trail enters the Val Setus, following the course of the stream of the same name. Along the way, you can admire the numerous waterfalls and pools of crystal-clear water.

After passing Val Setus, the path climbs up the side of Puez, until reaching Passo delle Erbe. From here you can enjoy a 360-degree panorama of the surrounding Dolomites, including the Sassolungo and Sella massifs.

The route then continues along the Puez ridge, through flowery meadows and spectacular views. Along the way you will also encounter typical Ladin huts, once used as shelters by the shepherds of the area.

After about 6 hours of walking, you finally arrive at the starting point, thus completing the Giro del Puez. This excursion is suitable for expert hikers and requires good physical preparation. However, the natural wonders that can be admired along the way amply repay the efforts made.

In short, the Giro del Puez is an unmissable excursion for all lovers of the mountains and unspoiled nature. The Dolomites are among the most beautiful mountains in the world, and this excursion offers a unique way to fully appreciate them.
